Icebreakers enter postdraft with strong top six but thin WR depth and luxury picks at DST/K

We came out of the draft with a solid core: Jaxon Smith-Njigba in R1 gives us a true WR1 anchor; Derrick Henry and Quinshon Judkins form a strong RB tandem; and Joe Burrow in R4 is reliable QB play. DeVonta Smith at WR2 and Harold Fannin at TE round out a competitive starting five, with Jordan Addison as a usable FLEX in week 1. The lineup is complete and has no empty starter slots heading into week 1, with PHI DST and Matt Gay at the specialist spots. Our bench is functional but top-heavy: Tyler Shough and Malik Willis give us QB depth that pushes us exactly to the 3-QB roster cap, and Jordan Mason plus Dallas Goedert provide RB and TE cover. Where we are weaker is at WR depth behind the starters — only three WRs on the roster (JSN, Smith, Addison) — and our late picks reflect that. Picking GB DST in R10 and Harrison Mevis in R8, then doubling at K with Matt Gay in R15, were luxury selections when WR or RB depth would have served us better. We are at the DST cap (PHI and GB) and K cap (Gay and Mevis), so any waiver or trade must respect those limits. Our first priority is WR depth and confirming health/status once designations update; the second is deciding whether to hold both backup QBs or trade one for positional balance.
