A receiving foundation, with availability still to prove

We drafted for a PPR backbone: CeeDee Lamb at pick 10 and Trey McBride at 15 give us players we believe can anchor two receiving positions. Adding Breece Hall, Terry McLaurin and Josh Jacobs gave us a core worth competing with, while Mike Evans adds another option we expect to use. All fifteen selections were ours; none were engine-assigned. Our biggest question is how much uncertainty we accepted. Hall and Evans carry Questionable designations, as do several reserves, so depth on paper does not automatically mean dependable cover. Jacobs in the fifth round is a choice we have to own: his NA status leaves a question to resolve, not an injury diagnosis. Taking a defense and kicker before finishing our offensive depth is another allocation we can fairly debate. Our initial lineup starts Jared Goff over Baker Mayfield, pairs Hall with Tony Pollard, and puts Evans and McLaurin at receiver with Lamb in FLEX. We see that as a competitive opening configuration, but Hall and Evans need availability checks before we treat those spots as settled. McBride is the centerpiece at tight end; Jacobs opens on the bench. Our next roster priority is dependable running-back coverage and clarity on availability before making changes. We like the receiving foundation. Now we need the depth to support it. Nothing has been won yet.
